🌱 March – May: Spring brings blooming parks and mild weather, ideal for walking tours and cultural visits. Tourist crowds are fewer, making it a pleasant time to explore.

☀️ June – August: Summer is warm and lively, with temperatures between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Festivals abound, and Prague gets crowded, so book accommodation early.

🍂 September – November: Autumn offers golden foliage and fewer tourists. It’s a great time for city visits, hikes, and wine tastings in Moravia.

Czechia is easy to explore thanks to its efficient transport system:

🚌 Buses: Reliable and budget-friendly, buses connect even small towns and rural areas. FlixBus and RegioJet operate many routes.

🚂 Trains: Czech Railways and private companies like RegioJet and Leo Express offer frequent and comfortable connections between cities. Trains are a scenic and practical choice for getting around.

🚗 Car Rental: Renting a car is convenient for visiting rural areas, castles, and nature parks. Roads are in good condition, and an IDP is not required if your license is in Latin script.

Cards are widely accepted, especially in cities. Visa and Mastercard are the most commonly used. Some smaller businesses may prefer cash, so carry some Czech koruna (CZK).

Czechia uses two plug types: C and E. They have two grounding holes. Most European plugs work, but check compatibility before you go. Czechia operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz frequency.

If needed, you can order an universal travel plug adapter here.

Tipping is customary but not obligatory. A tip of around 10% is appreciated in restaurants and cafés if you appreciated the service.

Tap water is safe to drink throughout Czechia.
